Add candidates manually in Noota Talent

Learn how to manually add candidates to a job to track, evaluate, and compare them inside Noota Talent.

Updated this week

Adding candidates manually

You can add candidates manually to a job when they were not found through AI sourcing or outreach.

This is useful when candidates come from external sources such as:

✔ ATS
✔ LinkedIn applications
✔ Job boards
✔ Referrals
✔ Email applications
✔ Internal databases

Adding candidates manually allows you to include them in the same structured workflow.

When to add candidates manually

Use manual addition when:

  • A candidate already applied

  • You received a CV outside the platform

  • The candidate comes from an ATS

  • The candidate was referred

  • You want to evaluate someone outside sourcing

Manual candidates can go through the same workflow as sourced candidates.

How to add a candidate manually

  1. Go to Jobs

  2. Open the job

  3. Go to the Pipeline

  4. Click Add candidate

  5. Enter the candidate information

  6. Save

The candidate will appear in the pipeline.

You can now run screening, scoring, and comparison.

What you can do after adding a candidate

After adding a candidate, you can:

✔ Run AI screening
✔ Send outreach
✔ Fill scorecards
✔ Capture interviews
✔ Compare candidates
✔ Generate reports
✔ Sync with ATS

Manual candidates are treated the same as sourced candidates.

Adding candidates to imported jobs

If the job was imported from LinkedIn or an ATS, you can still add candidates manually.

This is useful when:

  • Some candidates applied externally

  • Some candidates were sourced manually

  • Some candidates come from referrals

All candidates can be evaluated in the same pipeline.

Keeping the workflow consistent

Even when candidates come from different sources, Noota Talent keeps the workflow structured.

This allows teams to:

  • Compare candidates fairly

  • Use the same scorecards

  • Generate consistent reports

  • Make objective decisions

Manual addition helps keep all candidates in one system.
