Ask Noota

Ask Noota is your intelligent AI assistant trained on your meetings, documents, and daily workflows.
You can use it to ask questions, analyze past conversations, compare documents, generate summaries, and run repeatable tasks.

This guide covers all features shown in the Ask Noota product tour.


1. Getting Started

Accessing Ask Noota

  1. Log into your Noota account.

  2. Open the left sidebar and click Ask Noota.

You’ll land on the main interface, which includes:

  • A personalized welcome message

  • A chat box to ask a question or start a task

  • Smart cards with suggested prompts

  • Navigation to past chats and saved tasks

2. Overview of the Interface

Home Area

  • Personalized greeting with your name

  • Chat for quick questions

  • Tasks for repeatable workflows

  • Four smart cards with suggested prompts based on your industry

Left Sidebar

  • Start a New chat

  • Open Tasks

  • Search past conversations

  • View chats grouped by date

  • Pin, rename, or delete chats via the three-dot menu

  • Collapse or expand the sidebar


3. Using Ask Noota as a Chat Assistant

You can use Ask Noota like any general AI chat tool:

Example:

“Give me a recipe for a chocolate cake.”

Even without meeting data, Ask Noota provides helpful answers.


4. Refining Questions with “@ Mentions”

The @ mention system helps Ask Noota answer with precision by referencing your meetings and folders.

How to use it

  1. Type @ in the chat box.

  2. Choose from options such as Date, Meeting, Folder, etc.

  3. Select the relevant time period, meeting, or folder.

  4. Write your question and send.

Example workflow:

  1. Type @date → select “Last 30 days”

  2. Type @folder → choose “Test Demo”

  3. Ask:

“What decisions were made @date in @folder?”

Ask Noota will return a structured summary of all key points.

Traceable insights

Each answer includes:

  • Meeting titles used

  • Numbered timestamps linking to the exact moment in the transcript

  • A footer showing how many meetings were analyzed

You can click on a title or timestamp to open the transcript.


5. Creating Tasks for Repeatable Workflows

Tasks let you run the same type of analysis whenever you need, for example:

  • Weekly team summaries

  • Sales pipeline blockers

  • Interview evaluations

  • Sprint recaps

  • Customer feedback patterns

How to create a task

You can create a task from:

  • The + button next to the chat box, or

  • Tasks → + New Task in the sidebar

Steps

  1. Choose a title
    Example: “Weekly Sales Team Meeting Summary”

  2. Type your prompt
    Example:

    “Create a summary of @folder including decisions, blockers, and action items.”

  3. (Optional) Click Attachment to upload supporting files

  4. Click Save

Your task is now saved in your Task Library.

Running a task

  1. Go to Tasks

  2. Click Run Task

  3. The prompt loads automatically → press Enter


6. Using Noota’s Task Library

Noota provides ready-made templates for:

  • Sales

  • HR

  • Product

  • Management

  • Customer Success

To use a template

  1. Go to Tasks

  2. Open the Noota Tasks tab

  3. Select the template

  4. Click Run Task


7. Uploading and Analyzing Documents

Ask Noota can analyze up to 50 documents at once, including:

  • PDFs

  • Word documents (DOCX)

How to upload

  1. Click the paperclip icon in the chat box

  2. Upload your documents

  3. Ask any question referencing those files

Examples you can run:

  • “Find key differences between these reports.”

  • “Compare these documents with the last customer feedback.”

  • “Summarize all attached files and extract action items.”

Ask Noota will cross-analyze your attachments with meeting data if relevant.


8. Example: Recruiter Workflow

Ask Noota can automate multi-CV comparisons using your scorecards and job offers.

Example prompt

“Compare these candidates using the scorecard from the Backend Developer job offer.”

Steps

  1. Write your prompt

  2. Attach all relevant documents (e.g., 7 CVs, the scorecard, and the job offer)

  3. Click Enter

Ask Noota will:

  • Parse all CVs

  • Match them with the scorecard

  • Compare them based on the job offer

  • Deliver a structured ranking and insights

This saves hours of manual review and ensures consistent evaluations.
